Darbhanga Airport: Ahluwalia Contracts emerges as lowest bidder for new terminal contract
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has declared Ahluwalia Contracts (India) as the lowest bidder for the civil construction work of a new terminal building at Darbhanga Airport in Bihar. Ahluwalia placed a bid of Rs 572 crore. As per AAI new terminal building will include a basement, ground floor, and 2 upper floors. The terminal with a built-up area of 59,222 sq. m. and 5 aerobridges will enable the airport to handle a traffic demand of 3 million passengers per annum (mppa).
The brief scope of work involves the New Civil Enclave at Darbhanga Airport. SH – Construction of New Terminal Building, Allied Structure and External Development works on Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Model.
