Government of Jharkhand signs MoUs for investment worth Rs 99,000 crore
The state government of Jharkhand has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth more than Rs 99,000 crore with private firms. Some of the major highlights of the investment commitments were:
- Jindal Steel Ltd proposed an investment of Rs 40,000 crore
- Jindal Nuclear Power Pvt. Ltd committed Rs 30,000 crore for nuclear energy and Rs 650 crore for solar energy
- Google LLC signed an MoU for the promotion of AI and cloud technology in the state
These MoUs were signed during the two-day National Stakeholders Consultation 2026, held in New Delhi on 9th July,2026.
