DCM Shriram Group bags new order from Maersk
Delhi-based leading business conglomerate DCM Shriram Group has bagged a new order from a Danish integrated logistics and container shipping firm, AP Moller-Maersk. The order is for the supply of 1,000 additional India-manufactured shipping containers.
This comes after Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, unveiled the first export-import (EXIM) shipping container manufactured in India for AP Moller-Maersk at the Maersk-CONCOR Inland Container Depot in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. As per Maersk, this is not an endpoint but the foundation for a long-term supply relationship that will grow in scale.
