Odisha Chief Minister launches projects worth Rs 39,383 crore
Odisha's Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, launched industrial projects worth Rs 39,383 crore in the state. These projects belong to 46 companies and are spread across 14 districts of Odisha.
Some of the major project highlights are:
- Investment worth Rs 14,039 crore from Jindal Stainless and its group companies
- Expansion projects worth Rs 9,067 crore from Tata Steel and Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL)
- Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys' (IMFA) new ferrochrome plant at Kalinganagar
The launched projects are spread across sectors like Chemicals, renewable energy, food processing, textiles, IT, shipbuilding, healthcare, and tourism.
