Karnataka plans to develop data centre parks in Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Mangaluru
The state government of Karnataka has plans to develop data centre parks with a combined capacity of 1,000 MW across the state. These parks would be developed in Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Mangaluru.
500 MW capacity is planned near Hoskote in Bengaluru, which will be powered by Pavagada Solar Park. Further, 350 acres have been identified in the Baikampady Industrial Area for the data centre park in Mangaluru. So far, no updates have been shared about the project in Mysuru.
