Nagpur-Katol road project: DPR for Rs 250 crore project reaches final stages
The twin-flyover project on the busy Nagpur–Katol Road is nearing execution, with the detailed project report (DPR) in its final stages. This project, worth Rs 250 crore, was announced around 3 years ago and envisages two elevated corridors between Old Katol Naka Square and the New Katol Naka area along NH-353J, with a combined length of 2.25 km.
The National Highway (NH) Division of the State Public Works Department (PWD) will soon submit the DPR to the Government of Maharashtra. The project is expected to ease congestion, improve road safety, reduce travel time, and ensure smoother traffic flow.
