Maha Metro proposes Nashik light metro project
The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) has proposed a Mass Rapid Transit System, or Nashik light metro project. According to the updates, the 58-km MRTS network will eventually be developed as a Light Metro System under the city’s draft Comprehensive Mobility Plan.
It will be split into three high-demand corridors:

Gangapur-Mumbai Naka-Pathardi Phata (13.58 km)

Ozar Airport Road-Mumbai Naka/Pathardi Phata-Ambad (23 km)

Gangapur-Nashik Road Railway Station (21.5 km)
