Pune Metro: Maha Metro submits DPR for Bhakti Shakti-Wakad-Chakan Corridor
Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) has submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Bhakti Shakti–Wakad–Nashik Phata–Chakan Metro Corridor under Pune Metro Phase 2 to Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) for approval.
The estimated cost of the work is Rs 12,937.23 crore, covering 45.295 km with 34 stations. This new corridor will create three strategic integrations with existing and upcoming lines, ensuring seamless connectivity between IT parks, industrial zones, and residential hubs across Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune.
