GMIDC floats tender for floating solar and BESS project in Hingoli
Godavari Marathwada Irrigation Development Corporation (GMIDC) has floated an EPC tender inviting bids for developing a 200 MW Floating Solar PV plus Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.
The project will be implemented at the Purna Project, Taluka Basmath, Hingoli District, on the reservoir surface area for FSPV development [Feasible water surface area identified at the feasibility stage: Yeldari & Siddheshwar Dams].
As per the tender, the scope of work involves the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a co-located Floating Solar PV (FSPV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Purna Project in Hingoli district, along with other compatible technologies, subject to feasibility assessments and statutory approvals.
