Siemens bags new order worth Rs 263 crore from RVNL
German multinational automation firm, Siemens, has bagged a new order worth Rs 263 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL). The order is for overhead rail electrification technologies for the Rishikesh-Karnaprayag rail line project in Uttarakhand.
As per the firm, the scope of work involves rigid overhead catenary systems (ROCS) and flexible overhead catenary systems (FOCS) across tunnels, bridges, open routes, yards, and associated infrastructure over a project stretch of approximately 102.5 track kilometers.
