Railways invite bids for the redevelopment work of Ernakulam Town Station
An EPC tender is floated by Southern Railway (SR) for the redevelopment of Ernakulam Town Railway Station in Keralam. The tender is worth 156.43 Crore and involves the transformation of the station into a world-class, airport-like facility.
As per the tender, the new station will be designed to connect different modes of transport and will feature a direct skywalk to the nearest Kochi Metro station, as well as easy connections to local bus stops and auto-taxi stands.
