Uttar Pradesh plans deep-tech ecosystem in the state, Lucknow and Noida in focus
The government of Uttar Pradesh plans to establish a broad deep-tech ecosystem in the state. Under the plans is the development of robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum computing, semiconductor design, and advanced manufacturing.
Lucknow and Noida will be the major centres of this ecosystem, with projects like the PRAGATI (Park for Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Graphics Processing Unit) in Noida, two U Hubs in Noida and Lucknow. U Hubs will be centres of excellence, aiming to connect research institutions, startups, investors, educational institutions, technology companies, and skilled professionals.
Rs 100 crore has been allocated for the two centres in this fiscal year.
