Bhopal Metro: 4 firms qualified for package related to line 2
Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MPMRCL) has informed that 4 firms have qualified for civil construction contract BH-05 of Bhopal Metro Phase 1 project’s 12.915 km Blue Line (Line-2) which will connect Bhadbhada Chauraha – Ratnagiri Tiraha via 14 elevated stations.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1121.63 crore. Firms qualified for the work are:
- Afcons Infrastructure Ltd.
- Kalpataru – Gulermak (Joint Venture)
- Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (L&T)
- Tata Projects Ltd. (TPL)
The scope of work involves the part design and construction of an elevated Viaduct, 13 elevated Metro Rail Station viz. Bhadbhada Chauraha, Depot Chauraha, Jawahar Chowk, Roshanpura Chauraha, Kushabhau Thakre Hall, Parade Ground, Prabhat Chauraha, Govindpura, Govindpura Industrial Area, JK Road, Indrapuri, Piplani and Ratnagiri Tiraha (excluding an Elevated Passenger Interchange Metro Rail Station), between Chainages 50+000 and 62+915, and access to Depot between Chainages 00+155 and 01+100 for Blue Line.
