Flyover And Underpass To Be Part Of Chennai Metro Phase-2
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has planned to build 3.14 Km, four-lane flyovers between Mugalivakkam and Ramapuram on Mount Poonamallee Road. Construction would be a part of Madhavaram-Sholinganallur corridor-5 of CMRL’s Phase-2 project. Tamil Nadu State Highways Department has already sanctioned 45.49 for the construction of VUP, which is a part of the 47 km Madhavaram-Sholinganallur red line. Further, the  government has allotted 36.25 crores for the land acquisition process.
