Godrej to split its 127 year old conglomerate
Renowned business name Godrej which spans from soaps and home appliances to real estate business has signed an agreement to split the conglomerate. As per the agreement, Adi Godrej and his brother Nadir would keep Godrej Industries which has 5 listed firms, while cousins Jamshyd and Smita would get unlisted Godrej & Boyce and its affiliates as well as a land bank, including prime property in Mumbai.
