Lancaster University planning to setup campus in Bengaluru
United Kingdom's renowned public research university, Lancaster University, will open its first Indian campus in Bengaluru. Further, the university is planning to set up another campus at Karnataka's proposed Knowledge, Wellbeing and Innovation (KWIN) city.
A delegation of the University met the Government of Karnataka, and the information was shared by the Minister of Large and Medium Scale Industries excluding Sugar of Karnataka, M B Patil.
As per the minister, the Bengaluru campus will initially offer degree programmes in business, management and computing, with the curriculum and academic standards aligned with those of the university's UK campus.
