Paras Defence to setup semiconductor unit in Madhya Pradesh
Defence production firm Paras Defence and Space Technologies plans to set up a chip packaging and testing facility in Madhya Pradesh. The company's subsidiary, Paras Semiconductors, has signed an agreement with the Madhya Pradesh government's Department of Science and Technology to jointly develop the project.
According to the latest updates, the partnership will establish an Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility in the Indore–Ujjain region with an investment of Rs 6,200 crore.
