CCEA approves Rs 1,264 crore railway project in Andhra Pradesh
Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved a railway project worth Rs 1,264 crore linking Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The project involves the construction of third and fourth railway lines between Ballari in Karnataka and Guntakal in Andhra Pradesh.
This 46-km multi-tracking project is part of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan and aims to improve rail capacity, enhance freight movement, and strengthen multimodal connectivity.
