Government approves over Rs 7597 crores for four-laning of national highway in Telangana
Union Cabinet has approved Rs 7,597.16 crore for the four-laning of key stretches of National Highway-63 and National Highway-563 in Telangana. The scope of work covers four-laning of the Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial section of NH-63 and the Jagtial-Karimnagar section of NH-563, covering a combined length of 190.76 kilometres.
As per updates, the Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial stretch will be developed under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), while the Jagtial-Karimnagar section will be executed on a Build-Operate-Transfer (Toll) basis. The project aims to improve mobility, strengthen trade and logistics, enhance tourism and support the region’s agricultural and industrial economy.
