CNH Industrial to set up tractor manufacturing facility in Greater Noida
UK-based agricultural machinery maker CNH Industrial's Indian arm has plans to invest around Rs 2,000 crore in India by 2030. The firm is looking to set up a tractor plant near Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
The new plant will require an investment of around Rs 1,000 crore and will be located close to its existing Greater Noida facility at Yamuna Expressway. It is looking to double its tractor manufacturing capacity from 70,000 units to 1.4 lakh units.
The other Rs 1,000 crore will go towards R&D and product development for both domestic and export markets.
