Foxconn looking for 200 acres land for its new technology park
Taiwan-based leading electronics contract manufacturer Foxconn is scouting for a land parcel of more than 200 acres to set up a technology park and high-end electronics manufacturing facility.
According to The Economic Times, the firm has reportedly expressed interest in a land parcel near Sanand in Ahmedabad district for the project. The state government has offered customized incentives and all possible assistance to facilitate the project. Foxconn, in partnership with the HCL Group, is also setting up a technology and semiconductor park in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority area.
It also operates an electronics assembly facility in Tamil Nadu and has announced plans for a technology hub near Bengaluru in Karnataka.
