Tata Power plans to scale capacity, to invest 1.46 lakh crore
Tata Group's power sector arm, Tata Power, plans to invest around Rs 1.46 lakh crore to double its operational capacity to 32 GW by 2030. The firm also aims to significantly increase transmission line and distribution reach.
As per updates the new 4.3 GW cell and module plant in Tamil Nadu supports this expansion, boosting domestic solar production. The plan is to increase its transmission line capacity to 10,500 ckm from 4,633 ckm in FY24.
