Madhya Pradesh to develop telecom manufacturing zone in Gwalior
The Government of Madhya Pradesh has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for the development of a plug-and-play telecom manufacturing zone in Gwalior.
This project will attract investments of more than Rs 3,500 crore from 14 manufacturers, including Dixon Technologies, VVDN Technologies, HFCL and Optiemus Electronics. The government expects Rs 10,000-12,000 crore more in investment in the project's first phase.
