TDK plans to invest Rs 7,000 crore to set plant in Haryana, to make iPhone battery
The vendor supplier of Apple's iPhone, TDK has plans to set up its lithium-ion battery plant in Haryana. As per the report the Japanese firm is expected to set up a plant with an investment of Rs 6,000-7,000 crore in a phased manner for making lithium-ion cells.
Local production of lithium-ion battery cells will enhance local value addition in Apple's products.
