Vikran Engineering bags new order worth over Rs 153 crore
Thane-based electrical substation maker Vikran Engineering has bagged a new order from Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID). The order, worth Rs 153.76 crore, is for a 400 kV air-insulated substation (AIS) extension package.
According to the firm, the scope of work includes extending the 400/220 kV Tumkur-II AIS Pooling Substation and civil works for a ±300 MVAR static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) at the same facility.
The project is scheduled for completion within 21 months from the date of issuance of the Notification of Award.
