Websol Energy gets 54.20 acres of land in Kolkata for its new facility
West Bengal Government has allocated 54.20 acres of land to solar cell and module maker Websol Energy System Limited in Kolkata. The firm will develop its new solar manufacturing facility at Falta Industrial Park in Kolkata.
The plan is to install 4 GW of solar cell capacity and 4 GW of module capacity in two phases. The firm says the project will support its longer-term manufacturing expansion and 2028 growth targets.
