Chennai Metro Updates: Work To Setup Casting Yard Begins
The ground work to set up a casting yard for Chennai Metro Line-4’s 10 km underground section has begun. ITD Cementation has been informed about the project update. The underground section would connect the Power House Ramp – Light House Station.
Chennai Metro Rail Ltd (CMRL) had awarded ITD with both packages’ civil contracts in January 2022 for a combined contract value of Rs. 3743.24 crore and 48-month deadline.
