Government to set up 7 PM MITRA parks in a major boost to textile sector
In a major boost to the textile sector, the government is developing PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (MITRA) Parks with an estimated cost of Rs 13,040 crores. Further investment MoUs with expected investment potential of over Rs 27,434 crore have been signed, as per the updates.
These 7 parks are being developed at:
- Tamil Nadu (Virudhnagar)
- Telangana (Warangal)
- Gujarat (Navsari)
- Karnataka (Kalaburagi)
- Madhya Pradesh (Dhar)
- Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow)
- Maharashtra (Amravati)
