Midwest Energy commences commercial production from Bengaluru unit
Clean energy tech firm Midwest Energy Solutions has commenced commercial production at its 1.2 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The project has taken an investment of Rs 100 crore and is expected to generate around Rs 1,000 crore in annual revenue at full capacity.
This is the firm's first giga-scale battery energy storage manufacturing plant in India, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 1.2 GWh. The plan is to expand capacity to 6 GWh in the next three years.
