Highway projects worth Rs 20,668 crores cleared by Union Cabinet
The Union Cabinet has given its nod to highway projects worth Rs 20,668 crore. These two projects are a six-lane and access-controlled expressway between Nashik and Solapur, and the widening of National Highway 326 in Odisha.
Nashik-Solapur expressway is a part of the Viksit Bharat Golden Quadrilateral and would take an investment of Rs 19,142 crores. The Odisha road widening project would take an investment of Rs 1,526 crores and is aimed at improving connectivity in tribal-dominated districts.
