Government of Uttar Pradesh and Japan collaboration: Manufacturing projects worth Rs 3,191 crore launched
The UP–Japan Investment Meet 2026 has taken the India–Japan relationship beyond investment dialogue to projects on the ground. During the event, Escorts Kubota and Minda Corporation held a virtual groundbreaking ceremony for projects with a combined investment of Rs 3,191 crore.
Held in New Delhi, the meet also aims to explore opportunities across sectors such as manufacturing, electronics, semiconductors, green hydrogen, agriculture, skill development, tourism and technology. The focus is on translating the growing India–Japan relationship into investments, production, employment and long-term industrial partnerships.
