Adani Energy bags new order worth Rs 4,700 crore from Maharashtra
Adani Group firm Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has bagged an order worth Rs 4,700 crore for a transmission project in Maharashtra. The project involves the evacuation of 4,500 MW of renewable energy generated in Karnataka to major load centres in Maharashtra.
This project will support the growing pumped storage ecosystem in the Satara, Pune, and Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). According to AESL, the work involves the establishment of a 765/400 kV substation at Satara, a Kolhapur-Satara 765 kV double-circuit transmission line, and augmentation of the Kolhapur pooling station along with associated transmission infrastructure.
AESL bagged the project through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process.
