Agastya Energy plans to develop ingot and wafer facility in Kurnool
Anubhav Agarwal Group (AAG) firm Agastya Green Energy Ltd. plans to develop an integrated 12 GW ingot and wafer manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. The company will invest Rs 7,800 crore to establish the facility at the Orvakal Industrial Area in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
According to the company, it is also planning to establish 5 GW of solar cell and module manufacturing capacity in two phases. Phase 1 will comprise 2 GW of cell and module manufacturing capacity. The proposed integrated facility will bring together ingot, wafer, cell, and module manufacturing, enabling greater manufacturing efficiency and integration across upstream and downstream operations.
