Mumbai Metro: Titagarh Rail bags order for supply of coaches
Rolling stock maker Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) has bagged an order from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). The order is for the design, manufacture, supply, and commissioning of 132 metro coaches, along with associated systems, for the Mumbai Metro Line 5 project.
The order also covers 5 years of Comprehensive Maintenance after 2 years of Defect Liability Maintenance Period. The firm has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for line 5, which spans 24.90 km from Thane to Bhiwandi through 15 stations.
