RPSG sign agreement with Prism Johnson for wind power project in Ratlam
The renewable energy arm of CESC Ltd ( under the RP-Sanjiv Goenka (RPSG) Group), Purvah Green Power Private Ltd, has signed a commercial and industrial power space with integrated building materials maker Prism Johnson.
According to The Economic Times, the firm signed a 25-year group captive power purchase agreement with Prism Johnson Limited to build a 49.5 MW wind project in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. Under the agreement, Prism Johnson will pick up a 26.5 percent equity stake in the project company, while Purvah will hold the remaining 73.5 percent.
The project will be financed through a mix of debt and equity, with both parties contributing equity in proportion to their respective holdings.
