NLC India floats tender for 1,500 acres of land in Tamil Nadu
The subsidiary of NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), NLC India Limited (NLCIL), Neyveli, has floated a tender for arranging around 1,500 acres of land in Tamil Nadu. NLCIL aims to acquire the land through outright purchase for the development of solar projects in the state.
According to the scope of work, bidders are required to arrange 1,500 acres of private land in Tamil Nadu through outright purchase, at a rate of 5 acres per MW, for the development of solar projects. The selected bidder will also be responsible for conducting topographical surveys and providing site-enabling facilities for the land parcels.
The last date for submission of bids is September 21, 2026.
