New Noida project: Land acquisition process begins
Noida Authority has informed that the land acquisition process has begun for New Noida which would be a new city in the NCR. The authority conducted an initial survey with officials in the Secunderabad area of Bulandshahr, which is part of the planned region for the new city. The land was also inspected in Jokhabad village for the setting up of a temporary office, which will oversee the land acquisition and development processes.
New Noida will be developed under the Dedicated Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). The project will encompass land from approximately 20 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar and 60 villages in Bulandshahr. The development will occur in multiple phases, with the first phase covering 3,165 hectares set to be completed by 2027.
Further phases will be rolled out between 2027 and 2041, with 3,798 hectares to be developed by 2032, 5,908 hectares by 2037, and 8,230 hectares by 2041.
