Suzlon Group to invest around Rs 10,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh
Pune-based renewable energy firm Suzlon Group plans to invest Rs 10,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh as part of its expansion plans. The investment will cover the development of 1,325 MW of new wind projects in the Rayadurg constituency of Anantapur.
The firm already operates a blade manufacturing facility in the region and has invested around Rs 12,000 crore in the state as now. Suzlon is now collaborating on a large-scale green skills development programme aimed at preparing young professionals for careers in the renewable energy sector.
