WeWork India plans to develop solar power plant in Karnataka
Managed office space solutions provider WeWork India plans to develop a 10 MWp (DC) ground-mounted solar power plant in Karnataka. The company will invest Rs 35 crore in the project, which is expected to generate approximately 15–16 million units of clean electricity annually.
The project is expected to be commissioned in FY27. However, a location for the plant has not yet been identified. The electricity generated will be used to power WeWork’s workspaces across the state.
