IHG Hotels & Resorts enters Chhattisgarh with the signing of Garner Jagdalpur
British multinational hospitality firm IHG Hotels & Resorts has marked its debut in the state of Chhattisgarh. The firm has signed a franchise agreement for Garner Jagdalpur, which will be a 117-key hotel. It is scheduled to open in 2029.
As per the agreement, the new hotel will be developed by Freedom Hospitality and managed by United Hospitality Management (UHM). UHM and Freedom Hospitality are the trusted partners of IHG Hotels & Resorts in India. The hotel in Chattisgarh is part of IHG's newest midscale conversion brand, Garner, which aims to deliver a relaxed and flexible guest experience at an accessible price point.
