Prayagraj administration to build 1,200 government flats in Naini, Jhunsi
The Prayagraj administration is planning to develop nearly 1,200 new flats for government employees in the expanding areas of Naini and Jhunsi. This comes after repeated representations by employees seeking official quarters and to reduce reliance on rented housing among staff posted in key offices.
For the project, vacant government land outside the core city will be utilized. The administration will undertake mapping of plot locations, verifying ownership, and assessing whether the land can support housing development. These details will be forwarded to the Uttar Pradesh government, following which a detailed construction plan will be prepared in coordination with the departments concerned and sent for approval.
