Tamara Leisure Experiences eyes expansion with a target of 40 properties by 2030
Bengaluru-based hospitality firm Tamara Leisure Experiences (TLE) is planning expansion with an aim to have 40 properties by 2030. The firm is looking to achieve this through a Rs 600 crore pipeline and a 50:50 mix of owned and asset-light properties.
The firm is looking to develop a 24-houseboat luxury resort in Alleppey (2026) and a 50-key farm resort in Hosur. In the east, it will develop a destination-led resort at Kaziranga. Assam. In Kufri, the firm has done its first asset-light signing under the Lilac brand. Similarly, asset-light signings in Tirupati, Tiruvannamalai and Palani extend the brand across temple towns.
TLE is exploring a 120-key hotel in Bodh Gaya and is exploring other key pilgrimage destinations such as Varanasi, Amritsar, Ajmer and more. Jaipur, Pune and Ahmedabad are also under consideration for future projects. According to the firm, a 200-key O by Tamara is under way in Whitefield, Bengaluru; a 125-key Lilac is planned alongside a 60-key Lilac in Kannur, and a dedicated wedding and events venue has taken shape in Madurai.
