Bigtech launches new facility in Kancheepuram
The joint venture (JV) of US-based Corning and Indian firm Optiemus, Bigtech, has inaugurated a new facility in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu's chief minister, MK Stalin, inaugurated a manufacturing unit in Pillaipakkam, Kancheepuram, which is developed with an investment of Rs 1,003 crores.
This new facility will produce Gorilla Glass for smartphones.
