Bioethanol plant to be set by Assago Industries, to invest Rs 270 crore
Bio-fuel producing company. Assago Industries would be setting up an ethanol-producing plant at the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) Industrial Park. This greenfield project will be a grain-based zero-liquid discharge plant with a capacity of 200 kilolitres per day.
The firm would invest Rs 270 crore for the plant which will be spread across 20 acres and equipped with state-of-the-art machinery. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy took part in the ground-breaking ceremony of the project.
