IMFA to acquire Tata's ferro chrome plant in Kalinganagar
Value-added ferrochrome producer Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) is set to acquire Tata Steel's ferrochrome plant at Kalinganagar, Odisha. The deal is to be done for Rs 610 crores and would acquisition of 99 MVA furnace capacity - 66 MVA operational and 33 MVA under construction.
This strategic investment not only positions IMFA as the preeminent ferro-chrome manufacturer in India but also promises to enhance its production capabilities.
