Railway projects worth Rs 77,000 crore under way in North East India, says union rail minister
The Union Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has informed that railway projects worth Rs 77,000 crore are being implemented in the Northeast region. This comes after PM Modi inaugurated Mizoram's first railway line, connecting Aizawl to Delhi with the Rajdhani Express.
Development of the Northeast is a result of the PM's Act East Policy, said the minister.
