Railways plan to launch 800 Vande Bharat by 2030
The Indian Railways (IR) has plans to expand the Vande Bharat network by adding 200 Vande Bharat seated and sleeper trains in 2025–2026. Under the expansion, the plan is to launch 800 Vande Bharat EMUs by 2030.
These EMUs are manufactured at the ICF plant in Chennai and other units.
