Vedanta's aluminium smelter project: Land acquiring process underway in Odisha
Mining sector major Vedanta is actively acquiring land in Dhenkanal, Odisha, to establish a new 3 MTPA aluminium smelter. The project is aimed at doubling its total capacity to 6 MTPA.
As per the firm this green aluminium smelter project has the potential to create over 2 lakh jobs.
