Andhra Pradesh government signs MoU with UK for development of Urban Infrastructure in Aamravati
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Kingdom for the development and transformation of Amaravati into a world-class smart city and for upgrading urban infrastructure across all 123 municipalities in the state.
This Government-to-Government (G2G) MoU focuses on four core pillars: Infrastructure Planning, Sustainable Urban Development, Technology Transfer and Innovation, and Integrated Urban Mobility.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh aims to leverage the United Kingdom’s international expertise in project design, execution, and programme management to ensure high standards for urban infrastructure projects worth ?40,000 crore currently underway across the state.
