Lucknow Metro: UPMRC floats tender inviting bids for work related to line 2
The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has floated a tender inviting bids from eligible bidders for the first civil construction package of Lucknow Metro’s Line-2. Line 2 would connect Charbagh Railway Station and Vasant Kunj via 12 stations.
The work involves the construction of an 11.5 km long Line-2 through Old Lucknow at an estimated cost of Rs. 492.22 Crores. As per the tender, the scope of work also covers construction of ramp (Approx. 740.00m) to connect viaduct & Depot Entry/Exit and 5 nos. of Elevated Metro Stations i.e., Thakurganj, Balaganj, Sarfarajganj, Musabagh & Vasantkunj, including Civil, Associated Ancillary Structures, PEB structures, Architectural work, Water Supply, Sanitary Installation, Drainage, External Development, Fire Fighting arrangement, E&M works in Phase-1B.
